A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12b
This is my heart behind Weight Loss Wednesday.
As I have talked about my weight loss battle, other friends have bravely stepped forward and said, "I struggle too". It's time for us to quit struggling alone and in silence.
The purpose of Weight Loss Wednesday is to create a community of three strands where we share encouragement and provide accountability for one another.
Being honest about our own shortcomings gives others the opportunity to encourage us. Hearing their stories of success gives us hope. Knowing others are struggling with us gives us the accountability to keep going.
So what will it look like?
It will look like you.
Write a post on your blog linking back to Weight Loss Wednesday. Share what you are comfortable sharing. It could be…
Your weekly loss/gain
What worked or didn't work for you that week
What God is teaching you in the journey
The goal is to just be yourself…the beautiful snowflake that you are.
I will hopefully have Wednesday's post up Tuesday night by 10:00 EST with a linky tool. Below is the cute button that the amazing Honey designed for me. But you don't have to use the button, just make sure to link back to the corresponding week's post.

If you don't have a blog, you can still participate. You can either participate in the comments or on the Confessions of a Snowflake Facebook Page where tips and encouragement will be shared throughout the day.
If you are a Twitter user, I have created a new hashtag for Weight Loss Wednesday…#wlwed. This way we can connect throughout the week and encourage each other in our little victories and defeats.
And don't forget to visit some of the other bloggers linked up that day. Your comments can be that extra help they need to keep trying. Remember it's all about being a community of 3 strands.
Ok, so did I cover everything? Do you have any other questions?
Oh one more thing…please know that I reserve the right to delete any link that does not conform to the spirit of Weight Loss Wednesday.
I'm sure i missed something. Be patient with me, this is the first time I have hosted a meme. But I am very excited about it. I hope you are too!

Haven't written about my weight loss yet…hmmm…new ideas!
I have a work blog, but I'm failing on keeping it up-to-date, so the URL of this blob is irrevelant to my joining "Weight Loss Weds", I hope. I work for a company in Norway and have a home office in Knoxville, TN. I feel so isolated at times and have too much work to do and my piles of paper that I need to file/throw away are depressing. And, I need to lose some weight as a daughter of the King!
Hi, I found your blog through the UBP I guess. I can't remember now. I would love to link up to your Weight Loss Wednesdays. I am already linking up at Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans. Hoping I can link up the same post here. Looking forward to visiting other's on their weight loss journey and hoping to be an encouragement.
Blessings

Hi there!
I'm glad you've got this meme going. I've been struggling for years too. Community and accountability is very important, so is encouragement and moral support as I'm sure you already know. It's always easier with friends by your side, especially when they know what you're going through.
Thank you for hosting this meme!

I just started a new blog (I used to follow you on my old one) and I've been on a successful weight loss/lifestyle change journey. I haven't posted about it yet as I just started this new blog but I will be soon posting it soon within a week or so. Therefore I have signed up here to participate. :- )
Ugghhh!! Actually my comment above was supposed to post from THIS blog. I'm not sure how it posted from the other but I didn't mean to as I will be soon shutthing that blog down. Everything is so confusing since Blogger did away with Google Friend Connect. Anyway… looking forward to reading and posting on these challenges!
Blessings,
Leigha Elizabeth @ TCM-
I haven't shared my full story to many people but in short, I have gained over 100lbs having kids. I had lost up to 80bls at one point then gained most of it back with a pregnancy. I try not to stress it too much while pregnant but when I'm not I tend to get a little crazy. I'm an all or nothing kinda person which gets me into trouble when it comes to weight loss! I will blog about my story in the near future and link back to you!
