About

Welcome!

I’m so glad you found your way to my little corner of the web!

So who am I?

These days I have a lot of titles…wife, mom, daughter, sister, homeschooler, accountant, writer, speaker…among others.  But the one that really defines me is daughter of the King.

From being a lost little girl wondering about eternity to a teenager looking for answers to finally becoming a wife and mom seeking peace in a hectic world, God has been my joy, hope and peace.

This blog is an outpouring of that relationship.

I share my thoughts, hopes, dreams.

I’m also truthful about my struggles.

Through it all, I try to encourage others with the truth of God’s word….

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Because my story is a long one filled with God’s grace and mercy, I didn’t want to share all of it with you. So I decided to share it in five parts. I invite you to read it. May it bless you. May it inspire you. But more than that, may it fill you with the desire to seek the face of the Father, who loves you more than you will ever know.

    Hi Alicia,
Glad to hear that you attended the Relevant Conference. I so related to all the insecurities you shared as you prepared to step out of your comfort zone. Isn’t it amazing how our comfort zones suddenly become uncomfortable? In fact, they just become downright boring and confining. God has a special way of gently drawing us out of ourselves. He has so much more for us than we can imagine! When we push past our perceived boundaries, we discover a life of joy and adventure! Thanks for sharing the process. It’s more common than you think. But the results are worth it! I can’t wait to see where God takes me next. Having friends like you is a gift. And all because I stepped out of my comfort zone and found a precious writer’s group in Covington, GA. That’s our Father!
