This week's topic is all about encouraging others.
What would you tell someone who was thinking about trying to lose weight? How would you encourage them? What have you learned that you would pass along to make their journey easier? I hope you'll come and share with us.

My advice…
You can do this!
Really, you can.
Losing weight is not as hard as it sounds. Actually the hardest part is getting started. But once you do get started, the weight loss becomes it's own catalyst.
You will want to lose more weight. You will want to figure out what else you can cut out of your diet. You will want to exercise more.
Yes, there will be hard days. Yes, there will be days when you want to throw in the towel. Yes, you will trip up and binge.
I know it looks scary and overwhelming.
But don't focus on the negative.
Instead focus on the changes you can make. Focus on choosing a healthy breakfast or snack. Focus on working in 10 minutes of exercise to your busy schedule. Focus on one thing at a time.
Focus on just getting started.
You can do this!
And you deserve to do it. You deserve to take some time out of your busy schedule for you. You deserve to feel better about yourself. You deserve the opportunity to make a difference in your life. You deserve to be healthy.
You can do this!
You are a lot stronger than you think you are. You are a lot braver than you give yourself credit. And you can make those changes you need to make. I promise it's a lot easier than it looks.
You can do this!
This is coming from a girl who didn't think she could do it. When I started this journey in February, I didn't think I could do it. I was afraid I would quit. I didn't see how I could manage to make the changes necessary. I didn't want to exercise.
Now I love it.
I love the changes I see (and feel) in my body. I loved hearing at the scale today that I had lost another 2 lbs for a total of 25 lbs lost. And I love feeling better about myself.
And you can too my friend.
You can do this.
You really can make the necessary changes. You really can find time to exercise. You really can lose weight.
Just remember, you're never alone in this journey. You have the greatest Helper, you could ever need…
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
How about you my friend? How would you encourage someone who is thinking about losing weight? Why don't you link up for Weight Loss Wednesday and share some encouraging words? You never know who might need to read it.
Write a blog post it, referencing this post. Then link up with Mr. Linky below. Please know, though, that I reserve the right to delete any link that does not conform to the spirit of Weight Loss Wednesday. You can also join us on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #wlwed.
Also please remember to visit some of the other ladies as well. It's very encouraging to know you are not alone in this journey.
So next week is the last week of the month. Again, I will be taking the full week away from Social Media. But never fear! I have a very capable hostess for next week's Weight Loss Wednesday, Kris @ Eclipsed. Please join her as she discusses plateaus.
Next week's topic…
Have experienced a weight loss plateau? How did you handle it? How did you move past it? What was your inspiration for persisting through this difficult time. I hope you'll encourage others through this difficult time by sharing what has worked for you.
Then the following week is the first week of the month. That is our monthly Recipe Swap. And since I am always on the lookout for new recipes to try, I hope you'll swap with us!
In the meantime, remember…
Quitting is NOT an option!

Congrats on another good week! 2 lbs…Yes!!

Thanks for the reminder that "I can do this"….positive reinforcement is such a great encouragement in this weight loss journey!
You can do this! That is a great encouragement for all…..ps. I have been slow visiting blogs lately?
I decided to start loosing weight when I was 250. This wasn't my heaviest. It's just where I decided to start. A lady at Church who had just started WW encouraged me to go with her. My husband was deployed and I want so much to surprise him when he got home. She even went the extra mile and offered to pay for the meetings to help me get started. I am so thankful for her. I am now 135 pounds. I am so thankful for her and her love.
