Weight Loss Wednesday: You Can Do This!

 

 

 

 

 

This past week found me at a crossroads in my Weight Loss journey.  I was afraid of this point.  I was hoping to bypass it.

I tend to do really good at losing weight for a couple of weeks.  Then I quit.  My busy schedule overwhelms me.  I don't want to take the time to cook healthy meals or excercise.  It seems like too much work.

Last week I was at that point.  I was ready to throw in the towel.  Then I remembered my commitment I made when I decided to get real about my weight.  And the truth is…

I don't want to go backwards.

I really do want to lose weight and be healthy.  I don't want my joints to ache.  I don't want my jeans to be tight.  I want to have energy for hiking and (hopefully) backpacking with my family.

Most of all,  I want to be my best for my Heavenly Father.  He is my motivation…and my strength.

Thankfully tonight when I stepped on the scales tonight, I was down 0.4lbs for a total lost of 7.4 lbs. 

It helps me to believe in myself.  I really can do this.
