I Love You Lord
Words by Laurie Klein
Music by The Acappella Company
I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice
To worship you, Oh my soul rejoice!
Take joy, my King, in what you hear
May it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear
I love you, Lord, and I lift my hands
To worship you as my soul demands
Take joy, my King, in what you see
May I be a sweet, sweet child on your knee
I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice
To worship you, Oh my soul rejoice!
Take joy, my King, in what you hear
Make it a sweet, sweet sound in your ear
Make it a sweet, sweet sound in your ear
I love this simple chorus. It reminds me that worship doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated. It just has to be from the heart.
I pray blessings over you today, my sweet friends. May you feel God’s presence and know His joy. May you have a time of refreshing this weekend with your family. And may you forever walk in the fullness of God’s love.

This is such a beautiful chorus! We used to sing it at the church we were part of when we were first married. Thanks for the reminder!!!
Have a blessed (and worshipful) weekend.
Amen and amen! Praise the LORD!
Beautiful! I’ve never heard this acappella rendition of I Love Your Lord, but you are right: music doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated to stir the heart toward worship. In fact, sometimes the simpler and purer the sound, the better.
Simplicity is my theme in life!
I love this song! And you’re right…it doesn’t have to be fancy. It should just come from the heart! That’s what makes it worshipful!

I love all worship music. And sometimes I worship with no music. I love that too. I just love God…

I haven’t heard this song before, I like it. Whether we are writing on our blogs or worshiping our Lord, it must come from the heart and be ALL for God! That is when it works out for His good. Just my .02!
