The God of the Impossible

Thank you for your kind words yesterday hoping that I would feel better. I am feeling better this morning...not 100%...but better.

I couldn't miss Word Filled Wednesday, though. The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful word of our Father) through photo’s & a Bible verse!

I always enjoy visiting the other bloggers, to see what word God has shared with them. It's a great encouragement for the middle of the week. So join us at Critty Joy's place to join in the fun!

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known,
along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them
and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do;
I will not forsake them.
Isaiah 42:16

God has been reminding me of this promise lately....this promise to never leave us or forsake us. May we remember that when life gets hard and overwhelming. May we remember that He will lead us and guide us along unfamiliar paths. He will turn darkness into light before us and He will make the rough places smooth. All we need to do is trust.

I pray that you will be able to trust Him today regardless of what situation you are facing. Remember we serve a God who turned water into wine and leveled the walls of Jericho. We serve a God who can do the impossible. May we never forget that!

Happy WFW my friends!

Just keepin' it real,

    May we remember that He will lead us and guide us along unfamiliar paths... This means out of our comfort zone. Uh oh. But He is faithful!!!

  11. I love knowing that darkness is as light to Him. While we may feel like we're walking in the dark, it's all light to Him! Glad you're feeling a bit better, my friend.

  19. A very beautiful post, Alicia! I am so thankful for His Word and to know that He is guiding every step that I take when I allow Him too. The problem is that sometimes...I think that I can do it on my own and that is when I fail miserably.

    Thank you for a powerful reminder today to walk with Jesus as my guide and holding tightly to His unchanging hand.

    ((hugs))

  20. Great post Alicia! It is wonderful to know that He will lead us and guide us when it seems that everything is so unknown. He knows the way and His light will guide us if we will look for it and follow it. This was a great Word filled Wednesday , even though it is Thursday now! :)
